Just because it's not in red doesn't mean it can't be causing the problem, and something being red doesn't mean it is a problem. A chair I downloaded kept crashing my game, and it didn't show up in red.
I don't know why it would take so long for you to try, though - it took me all of 3 seconds to move my Downloads folder to my desktop, and it's about 1 gig. Now that the basics are out of the way, hopefully someone else will be able to help. I tried the tutorial, and I can access that just fine. But I tried one of the neighborhoods that comes with the game, and that didn't work either.
